Bring your domain to Cloudoio without the stress

A domain transfer moves the registration of your domain from one provider to another. Your website and email keep working during the transfer as long as the DNS settings stay the same. Only the company that manages the registration changes.

The domain must be unlocked at your current provider, be more than 60 days old and not have been transferred in the last 60 days. You also need the authorisation code (EPP code) and access to the email address of the domain owner, which may receive a confirmation email.

Each extension has its own transfer price, which you can see in the table on this page. For most extensions the transfer includes one more year of registration, added to the date your domain expires.

Most transfers finish in 5 to 7 days. Some extensions are faster. It goes quicker if you approve the confirmation email right away and the authorisation code is correct.

No, not if you keep the same nameservers. Check your DNS records, especially the MX records for email, before you start. After the transfer you can manage them from your Cloudoio client area.

Yes. Add each domain to the cart with its own authorisation code. If you have many domains, contact us and we will help you plan the transfer.

Some providers ask you to turn off WHOIS privacy so the confirmation email reaches the owner. Check it with your current provider. You can turn privacy on again at Cloudoio once the transfer is done, on the extensions that allow it.
